Everyone who knows me know how i ADORE Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge. MR!, together with Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom, is not complete without watching ALL of the 3 mentioned films part of the Red Curtain Triology.

I don't know why I have to wait till now to watch the fabulous Strictly Ballroom (1992). It's so good. Now I've finished watching ALL 3 films they just got better as a whole. It's SOOO damn GOOD! Of course the technical aspects of this film can't beat my beloved MR. But it's abilities to charm you into believing and falling is love is just as good, if not better. Baz is an unstoppable GENIUS (and he must be gay, and ms martin must be lesbo)!

Now I have to wait for his next project, erm Alexander The Great (2006) - not the one by Oliver Stone starring Colin Farrel - but the one starring Leo diCap and my wife, ms Kidman.

Short Notes on other DVDs I watched this week:
Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS - it's so hitchcock. just be weird and uncompromising 40 years ago and you will be a famous filmmaker today
Ang Lee (aka Lee An) SENSE AND SENSIBILITY - Another genius that Ang Lee. Always makes me laugh and cry.
GHOSTSHIP - Horrible. Atrocious.
CLUELESS - Alicia Silverstone is sooooo irritatingly hilarious. It reminds me of divineblack, tacuma and the rest back those days.
